Welcome to NetWage. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of netwagepro.com, including all content, tools, features, and services offered on or through the Site. By accessing or using NetWage, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and NetWage, operated by Borni Franklin (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract, and will use the Site only for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

2. Description of Services

NetWage provides free online salary and paycheck estimation tools including federal and state income tax withholding calculators, FICA deduction estimators, take-home pay calculators for all 50 US states and DC, educational articles about US payroll and tax topics, and blog content covering salary, tax, and personal finance education. All tools are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

3. Informational Purpose Only — Not Professional Advice

This is one of the most important sections of these Terms. Please read it carefully.

All salary calculations, tax estimates, take-home pay figures, and other results produced by NetWage’s tools are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are estimates based on standardized interpretations of publicly available IRS publications, Social Security Administration guidelines, and state tax authority data.

NetWage does not provide tax advice, legal advice, financial advice, accounting services, or any other professional advisory services. Specifically:

  • Calculator results are estimates only and may not accurately reflect your actual tax liability or take-home pay;
  • We do not account for all possible deductions, credits, exemptions, local taxes, supplemental wages, or individual circumstances;
  • Tax laws change frequently and we cannot guarantee all information is up to date at any given time;
  • Individual tax situations vary significantly based on personal circumstances our calculators cannot fully assess;
  • We are not a CPA firm, tax attorney, financial advisor, or licensed financial institution.

4. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of our information and calculations, sourcing data directly from IRS publications, SSA guidelines, and official state tax authority websites. However, we do not warrant that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or error-free. Tax rates, brackets, and rules change regularly and there may be a delay between when tax laws change and when our calculators are updated. We encourage users to verify all results using official government sources and/or a qualified tax professional before making any financial decisions.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on NetWage — including text, articles, guides, calculator interfaces, source code, graphics, logos, images, and the overall design — is the intellectual property of NetWage or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may access our calculators for personal salary and tax estimation, share links to pages on NetWage, and print individual pages for personal reference.

Without our express written permission you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any content from NetWage; scrape or systematically download content using automated tools; incorporate our calculators into other websites or applications; use our content for commercial purposes; remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices; or create derivative works based on our content.

6. User Conduct

When using NetWage, you agree not to use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; transmit unsolicited advertising or promotional material; engage in any conduct that restricts others’ use of the Site; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site; use any robot, spider, or other automated means to access the Site without written permission; introduce any viruses, malware, or other malicious material; impersonate NetWage or any other person or entity; or collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from the Site.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Content

NetWage displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense and potentially other advertising networks. These advertisements are provided by third parties and are not under our direct control. We do not endorse any products or services advertised on our Site. Our advertising relationships do not in any way influence the accuracy or objectivity of our salary calculations and editorial content.

8. Links to Third-Party Websites

NetWage may contain links to external websites including official government sources. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. The inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement of the linked site.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NETWAGEPRO IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT, AND THAT CALCULATION RESULTS ARE ACCURATE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NETWAGEPRO, ITS OWNER, AFFILIATES, PARTNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES; DAMAGES RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON CALCULATOR RESULTS FOR TAX FILING, PAYROLL, OR FINANCIAL PLANNING DECISIONS; OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ERRORS OR INACCURACIES IN TAX CALCULATIONS. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NetWage and its owner, affiliates, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site.

12. Privacy

Your use of NetWage is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy/ to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

13. Modifications to the Site and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time with or without notice. We also reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and NetWage regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings.
